New Feature: Private Prompts

By John AdamsNovember 18, 2025

We're excited to announce a new privacy feature that gives you more control over your prompts!

What's New

You can now make your prompts private when creating or editing them. Private prompts are only visible to you - they won't appear in the public gallery or on your public profile page for other users to see.

How to Use

When creating a new prompt or editing an existing one, you'll find a new checkbox at the bottom of the form: "Make this prompt public".

  • Checked (default): Your prompt is public and visible to everyone
  • Unchecked: Your prompt is private and only visible to you

Visual Indicator

Private prompts now display a small eye-slash icon (👁️‍🗨️) in the top-left corner of the prompt card, so you can easily identify which of your prompts are private at a glance.

Benefits

  • Privacy Control: Keep your work-in-progress prompts private until you're ready to share
  • Personal Collection: Build a private library of prompts just for yourself
  • Flexible Sharing: Toggle between public and private anytime by editing your prompt

Where to Find Your Private Prompts

  • Private prompts appear in your own profile page when you're logged in
  • They're included in your personal gallery view
  • They won't appear in search results or public galleries

We hope this feature helps you organize and share your prompts more effectively!
